Hi! I am Julia Kolinski and I am a NYC based actor!

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Summa Cum Laude in Acting from the school of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University in May of 2024.

I fell in love in with acting in sixth grade, when I competed in a Shakespeare recitation contest. I pranced around my middle school auditorium stage in a cape my older brother had used for a Halloween costume. I did not understand the words I was saying, but I knew I never wanted to get off that stage.

In my time at Syracuse I performed in several theatre productions and discovered my affinity for on-camera acting doing student films. I also realized just how much I love to make people laugh and joined an improv troupe. I studied at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London in my semester abroad (I left the cape at home this time) and in my spring semester of senior year moved to NYC and took part in Syracuse’s Tepper Semester.

When I was a child my dad used to call me “the straw that stirred the drink of the house.” I want to continue to stir through my acting. I am eager for audition opportunities and representation…
